Submay: Nauener Platz
This is the first of many stops to Germany. Nauener Platz Station, Berlin.
It was opened in 1976 and is part of a newer network on U-Bahn Berlin, the major underground system in Berlin.
In rummaging around for some useful information the best I could find is that Nauener Platz was designed by the architect Rainer G. Rümmler. It is one of over fifty stations he would design between the mid-sixties and early nineties.
And it's use of red, blue and white may have something to do with the fact that the station is located in what was the French sector of the city during the early days of the cold war.
