Akropoli was opened in 2000 and is part of Line 2 on the Attiko Metro, the underground rapid transit system of Athens. Mind you given Greece's current financial woes it may soon be owned by the Germans.

Akropoli station, as the name suggests, is the stop for the Acropolis. The entrance hall even boasts an impressive replica of Parthenon friezes.
