Submay: Carmes

This stop. Carmes Station, Toulouse.

Carmes was opened in 2007 and is part of Line B on the Metro de Toulouse.

The station is dominated by a huge piece of art, 'Sky' by Jean-Paul Marcheschi. It measures 46 x 115 ft and curves along the ceiling and wall. It may not be the Sistine Chapel, but it is still one of the more striking pieces of station artwork anywhere in the world.
