This stop. Volokolamskaya Station, Moscow.

Volokolamskaya is probably the most breathtaking of the very latest additions to the Moscow Metro. It was opened on 26th December, 2009 and is part of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line.

  

Volokolamskaya was designed by the architects Alexander Orlov and Alexander Nekrasov. Their striking use of colonnades may have been inspired, as we shall see later, by one of the truly iconic stations on the Moscow metro.
