Submay: Montebello

This stop. Montebello Station, Lille.

It opened in 1989 and is part of Line 2 on the Metro de Lille. Montebello is unquestionably one of the more unusual stations. Its platform has wooden parquet flooring and aquariums with live fish are fitted into the walls. It probably makes waiting for a train here a little more soothing than at most other stations.
