Submay: Louvre-Rivoli

This stop. Louvre-Rivoli Station, Paris.

Louvre-Rivoli is part of Line 1 on the Paris Metro. It was originally opened in 1900 as Louvre Station, and as the name suggested was the station with a direct entrance to the Louvre Museum. That all changed in 1989 when the Louvre Pyramid was built. A new entrance to the museum through another station was created and so its name was changed to Louvre-Rivoli.

In 1968, the platforms were decorated with replicas of ancient art from the Louvre Museum. Amazingly there haven't been any daring heists yet.

You should feature Arts et Métier, it's unusual, and it's my local…
