Submay: Canary Wharf

Ello ello, what's this then. Canary Wharf Station, London.

The London Underground may the word's oldest subway system, but you wouldn't know it looking at some of it's recent additions. Canary Wharf was opened in 1999 as part of the Jubilee Line extension and coincided with the renovation of London's Docklands region.

It was designed by Norman Foster. As you will see, its not the only subway station to get the Foster touch.

The station made it's film debut in Danny Boyle's "28 Days Later".
