Submay: Wittenbergplatz

This stop. Wittenbergplatz Station, Berlin.

Wittenbergplatz was originally built in 1902, making it one of the oldest stations on the U-Bahn Berlin. It was completely redesigned by the Swedish architect Alfred Grenander in 1913, one of over seventy stations that he has designed in Berlin.

It was badly damaged during World War Two, but was rebuilt to Grenander's glorious design.
