Submay: Zurich Stadelhofen

This stop. Zurich Stadelhofen Station, Zurich.

Stadelhofen is a major transfer hub on the Zurich S-Bahn, a network of railway lines that connects areas in and around Zurich. An actual underground line (U-Bahn) was rejected by the residents of Zurich in 1960.

Zurich Stadelhofen was opened as an S-Bahn station in 1990, although the original station goes all the way back to 1894. It was completely rebuilt by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
